The DRM had Found this Proposal as very Interesting and had promised that it would be taken to Higher Officials for a Feasibility Study and will be Implemented after getting a Nod.
However after 5 Months, we got a reply Indicating that the Proposal was Forwarded to Railway Board and was waiting For a Nod.
After the budget 2010, we were informed in our Next meeting that Railway board had not approved the Proposal, owing to Resource constraints, which is as usual excuse for Railways, but the DRM Praised us for having submitted such a Proposal and have assured us that they will try their level best to get another train to Veraval from Mumbai as well as Ahmedabad.
