Is there a plan to electrify or double the line the between Kacheguda and Bangalore

Electrifying works going on but no doubling.... from ynk to gy they have completed installing mast but after falaknuma to done no work has been started. So it will take time
Dear I told for KCG-Dhone (Invariably from Falaknuma) the Survey has been completed for Doubling and works shall start only after fund allocation.Also in for YNK-GY electrification is prioritized and doubling shall be taken up in patches as feasible..As of now electrification is in priority.
Why is it taking so long to electrify this route between two major cities ?
Is there an alternate electrified route taking similar travel time ?

Depends on various factors primarily RB Approvals and fund allocations,now since work is on Electrification shall be completed first for existing line parallely they could take up doubling works as per allocations..For Doubling Surveying/Land acquisition where ever if required all these needs to be looked in to.
