Does anyone know what is ticket booking algorithm followed for AC double decker trains for Bangalore to Chennai. (train no 22626)
My elderly parents would be travelling and I want them to get either middle deck or upper deck. Currently I booked 2 months in advance right in morning
thinking I would get middle deck but sadly I got lower deck. Right know 998 availability is there and I am thinking to rebook and try my luck again. Is there any sequence followed while allocating seats like lowed deck...

instead of trying in IRCTC website.Go to nearest PRS and book there so that you can request in middle or upper deck
