No one in TN or Kerala actually wants 16565/6, even people in Kerala are of the opinion that it should've been routed via ASK. I am of the same opinion. The Mangalore private bus lobby is the strongest in the country. I don't think anyone has to go anywhere else to know the reason why there aren't more MAQ-SBC trains. The government meanwhile is making comedy statements about running bullet trains on that route! :D

MAS MDU Duronto has to be converted to AC Express and extended to CAPE... If you notice, Nagercoil does not have even a single premium class train. Neither does TEN or any part of South TN.

Completely agree with member Vadakkus. We at TN and KL never want to enjoy this train service at the cost of KA. If i were a RM my first list will have a brand new train connecting MAQ with MAS Via SBC and with a slip to TPTY. :)

Agree, rather it can be called South Coast Railway. Hope TN AP will not have ideas to create an other new zone so that the word 'west' will not be needed.
