Most of the trains while coming from pnbe and going towards Barauni, KIR, NNA has to halt at Aunta halt which is slightly ahead of MKA. Here the train has to change the track from first to fourth and then slowly takes the Rajendra setu over River Ganga to cross the river. Since the train shifts from first to fourth track, it has to be ensured that no trains are going from pnbe to kiul and vice versa. So technical halt is required.
