with no lower berth available in the train can a WL ticket be allotted lower berth ?..If yes then from where does this lower berth come is it that , while clearing the WL first all the senior citizens WL are scanned and allotted lower berth and then normal WL is cleared ???
When a LB passenger cancels his/her ticket the berth remains hidden in system. It may happens in case of part of route booking of LB.

exactly what i thought and then the questions comes to mind is why doesnt the canceled lower berth become available again for booking ...
because there is no queuing in case of few quotas like ss and ld...once booked it wl show "not available"...in case railways wanted it to b available immediately available for booking they wd hv started sswl 1 and ldwl 1..
