nobhonil10 2412 blog postsCan anyone update about the track strengthening work on NCB-Golakganj-Fakiragram Stretch.Is it capable of handling Intercities,Passengers from Ghy to NCB-NJP.Whats the progress of work on GOLAKGANJ-GOURIPUR-JOGIGHOPA STRETCH.I suppose Gauripur(only 6 kms from Dhubri) will be the station for Dhubri for trains from GHY,KYQ,upper Assam once Jogighopa-New Maynaguri line completes.

Dont think they will extend it upto APDJ............Padatik has really been able to perform well and has taken a huge load from Darjeeling Mail.So its like Darjeeling Mail 2.NJP will have supremacy over it.Again a SF train will not be gibven in Dooars route after all the incidents that has happened regarding wildlife.
