At the outset, the train was started to connect the garhwa road. It was intercity express from Ranchi to garhwa road.
Thereafter, this train was extended upto Varanasi..
and then it was extended to Ajmer on thursday and sambalpur for a day in a week.
The original route was RNC-GHD.
