I'm very happy that the curtains have been done away with. On every trip, I would enter into an argument with the coach attendant as the curtains would be smelly and dirty. Mostly, the attendant would refuse totake cognisance of my complaint. Curtains also make the coach darker and unsafe.

have seen coach attendants using the curtains to wipe their hands, and even some passengers do the same. The curtains look like they are never cleaned. Removing them will also make coaches brighter, this will also inhibit consumption of liquor behind drawn curtains.

If not washed regularly -preferably every fortnight -the dust concentration can go up to a level that can cause allergic reactions in some individuals.
