RMM. The new train departs CBE on Tuesdays at 19.45 and reaches RMM the next day at 6.45. The train departs RMM on Wednesdays at 18.40 and reaches CBE at 6.40. If the train is extended to Cochin, then it would be beneficial for the passengers who do not intend to go on a pilgrimage. Since the train goes via CBE the fares and the timings are convenient. 100s of people go to RMM for doing the post death ceremnoies, bali etc . Currently the passengers have to take a long route via TVC and TEN. According to Ernakulam Karayogam Secretary P Ramachandran " IF the train is extended then this problem would be solved" . The demand is also endorsed by Gowda Saraswata Kshema Sabha Secretary O. H Venugopal, Kerala Brahmana Sabha District Secretary S Mohandas, Bhakta Sewa Samiti President A R Krishnan. They also mentioned that the request for the same would be submitted to Minister K V Thomas and other peoples representatives
