Yes it is good news for both karnataka and maharashtra people. It would very useful it get extended upto Dharwad via Bailhongal-Kittur. Then it will be straight line from Bangalore to Pune. So that many trains can be run on this line. Plus Doubling of Pune-Bangalore line should be on the top priority...
