Hi all ,
I have been hearing about Konkan railways,and Railways in Assam and neighboring states from a long time.I want to do railfanning through these areas this year
Below are my travel dates.Can anyone please suggest me a nice round trip in which i can see the best of indian railways(hills and greens) in 5 days

take any overnighter from mas to sbc/ypr...then take 16515 ypr karwar...runs on mon wed fri to majn. whole route is scenic plus post maq konkan starts. once u reach majn quit the train and stay at majn. nex day take tvc rajdhani early morning to enjoy konkan. reach panvel. full konkan in broad day light. then take a flight to guwahati from mumbai. Once u reach ghy take a bus or train to lumding. from lumding take lumding silchar barak valley. awesome traine plus scenes enroute. take a bus for return from silchar to ghy. if u wan u can enjoy darjeeling himalayan railways also. take a flight back from hwh to mas
