RFIR~ 6839 blog postsRecently around 250 kids were brought to kerala in this train. All of them alighted at Palakkad. This recently became a big news in kerala since they were detained by police etc though that is a different discussion.
It was said that around Rs 1.5 lakhs was realised through fine since majority of them were without tickets.This just goes to show how irresponsible railways themselves are in not having proper ticket checking mechanism in place. It is a surprise that the train crossed bihar,orissa,Andhra,Tamilnadu and nobody cchecked there and only once it reached kerala it was found that many of them were without tickets.
