They earned too much on premiums, needed something to waste upon.. But people don't rely on these Jan Sadharan specials and they opt for regular trains and even board sleepers.. The irony is almost 50-75 per coach and they pay upto rs 500 fine which means per coach earnings are 25000, and if a train has 12 sleeper coaches then the total earnings would be around 300000, but god knows where the money goes and they still cry we don't have funds.
