It is a decision taken by Rail Ministry as a whole for 3 more mnths. Yesterday a notification had come and its also there in the Ministry of Railways site. They are saying its is in the view of summer rush. After 3 months they would again extend saying festival rush!!!! Please see below.
The Ministry of Railways has decided to extend the validity of all experimental stoppages of various trains for a period of three more months i.e. upto 30.09.2014.
Accordingly, the validity of all experimental stoppages earlier extended upto 30.06.2014...

i very well know that Avadi stop will be restored . I read in newspaper that Avadi Malayalees association conducted a rally criticizing SR for the removal of the halt. The only good thing is many people from trivandrum mail and ALLP express alight here bro.
most appreciable move by SR. 1mail is becoming is a favourite train for ppl who return to Arakkonam from Chennai . They even board SL coaches.
All stops restored saying summer rush. After 3 months it would be Dussera/Diwali rush. Then after that it would be new year/christmas/winter holidays rush.
Then after that budget would be round the corner and hence not much risk would be take which would be followed by the next summer rush !!!!.......
So in totality this has ended in a big farce.
