Will it be converted to a permanent shatabdi?? if yes then it will become another slow crawler shatabdi with this time table just like anvt-kgm shatabdi..

Crying over the speed of KGM bound trains is one of the most illogical activities I've come across in this forum. Somebody says " KGM Shatabdi is not even a SF, why call it a Shatabdi?" someone says " Haww! UKSK is the only non-SF Sampark Kranti? Thats ridiculous.".
I invite all such people to KGM someday. Please come here and see the geography of the place. Just look at the gradients, route, sectional MPS etc. Once you're done with this study I'm sure you'd get answer to these questions. Even KLK-SML Shaivalik Deluxe is a Shatabdi Class train. But it averages a mere 19. Why no hue and cry there?

Im going to tell u my past experiences of travelling in anvt-kgm shatabdi both up and down and in Hwh-lku express and bagh express, i went to that section 4 times.. first coming to shatabdi- travelled in 2012 oct, from moradabad to kgm, at moradabad it arrived 25 mins late and when it reached rampur at 10 am it was 30 mins late and then it reached kathgodam exactly at 11.55 am and in that single line route it was just crawling still it reached lalkuan before time and haldwani 15 mins before time so it halted in haldwani for exactly 18 mins instead of scheduled 2 mins, so it covered the route in 2 hours with long halts in haldwani, that means it has too much slack time and it was not running at MPS also.. now coming to my experience of bagh exp, travelled in it on nov 2013,...
it was running almost 4 hours late and when it departed rampur it was around 9.45 am and it reached kathgodam at 12.30, with overtake from shatabdi and other 2 crossings from opposite direction, it was supposed to cross the route in 3.30 hrs but it covered in 2.45 hrs.. now coming to lku-hwh express, it started from lalkuan at 6.40 pm and cruised to rampur within 1 hr 15 mins, from these experiences i have realised that every train in that route has too much of slack time and with all the speed restrictions the distance can be covered within 2 hrs even with all the crossings so for a premier train with shatabdi tag and aeroplane like fare taking 2 hrs 40 mins to travel between rampur and kathgodam is too much!! and also between lucknow and rampur in double line track the avg speed is not great also.. so lucknow and kathgodam distance can be covered easily within 7 hrs and anvt-kgm can be covered within 5 hrs easily..IR is not utilizing the full potentials here.. thats what im trying to say, not crying for anything as crying doesn't resolve anything but logical thinking does.. and as for ur reference of shivalik express it is a narrow gauge train which runs in the mountains so its almost insane to compare a mountain train which ascends 1450 meter within 95 km to a broad gauge train which ascends only 300 meters in 90 km route..

Yah, i have been there few times, observed the route closely, there are only 5 big curves, after bilaspur road, before and after haldi road, before entering lalkuan and haldwani, others are small curves and trains take those curves with good speed.. and why i am calling it a crawler because any train with shatabdi tag or premium tag or duronto tag but having avg speed below the designated superfast level i.e 55 kmph is a crawler..and point on sudden rise of gradient- its elevation of only 300 meters between rampur and kathgodam within 90 km but trains are alotted time of 2.30-3 hrs and on the other hand jammu to udhampur its elevation of 330 meters within 60 km still trains cover it within 1-1.30 hrs!!
