My opinion for rail budget: out of the two RAJDHANI exp between Kolkata and New delhi, one should be re-routed via LKO instead of both running through CNB... Kanpur is enjoying so many RJDHN exp at the moment, while LKO,is having only 1.

@AJ: LKo-CNB bhale hi 90 kms door hai, lekin jo travel karta hai uska dard woh hi samajh sakta hai... By train, the Memu trains are hopelessly overcrowded and are invariably late by 1-2 hours making this 2 hour hourney into a horrible 3-4 hour experience. By road, u can never predict how long is it going to take there... unexpected jams and poor roads...horrible...
@Now lean: It will not take 6 hours more.... it may take 1 hour more at the maximum...
