Steep hike of 14 % :( Increase in railway fares means increase in the cost of transport of food items, which in turn will lead to inflation in food prices. Tough times ahead...
bhai aaye hi kaha the. itna hike ho gaya ki ab toh log train mei aana hi nahi chahenge. There is just marginal difference in fares for train and air travel. :(

Aur bhi important cheez hai tracks ki speed ka. pehle 160 kmph ka target toh achieve kar lo before thinking about bullet trains. IR ko bullet train project thode saal ke liye postpone kar lena chahiye.
