bhaiyou 278 blog posts18047 Amaravati Express running between Kolkata and Vasco-da-gama via Bellary-Rajamundhary may be extended upto Pune via Londa. This will reduce load on Pune Kolkata trains on Manmand-daund sections.

Even now people are travelling from Kolkata to Vasco & then to Pune when rail tickets in Kolkata -Pune-Duronto or Azad Hind Express are not available. Route may be longer, but when tickets are not available all possible options are seen to reach destinantions. Vasco-Lonmda-Pune is another 10 hrs journey.
It's the time when people are demanding this to be a daily train and you are asking for a re route to Pune. Not at all feasible
Just ask for a train from Kolhapur to Howrah via Pune and you are done this train is dedicated for Goa and Hubli let it remain as it is, infact this train needs a frequency increase to daily but even that is not fulfilled.
the fact is that Daund-Manmad section is saturated, track is not free. same is problem on Mumbai-Kolkata section, Other route is via Hyderbad-Rajahmundry-Cuttack-Kolkata which is also a longer one( SERly)
