it acts as an up line from aljn to gzb with few restrictions 1. It does not reach aljn jn it starts 1.5 km away from aljn. 2. It is not available in about 2 km stretch at dadri station.
The third line is used for ALJN-GZB traffic. I've witnessed many parallel runs in the morning, one of them being the brutal overtake of Swatantrata Senani by HWH-NDLS Yuva while both moving at 80+. Sadly no captures.
In my views it used for both..according to traffic. In night it used as GZB-ALJN till 12-1 and afterwards you statement stands from myside aswell.
