A warning to Motorman there is a neutral section 500 m from this point.
That's what i had thought also except that what is the point of a neutral zone when the entire WR section has switched over to AC traction. Maybe they just could not be bothered to take down the warning.
Neutral sections are existing everywhere and not just in DC / AC section. This is a technical requirement. So you will see this in Delhi, Ambala, Kanpur, Howrah etc. everywhere on electric traction.
