This budget seems to be going to be best ever for lalkuan.... many trains for south will be announced. ..... intercity to lucknow and an express to agrafort, kota and gorakhpur. ..... plus links and extensions will be given to many eastbound train from/via Bareilly. .... hope for good luck and pray for best.

Two pit lines at lku with tracks on both sides. .. 4 pfs and a yard that can accommodate 8 full rakes.... I mean four double rake sidings. ... but there is no coach care centre at lku so maintenance can only be done at kgm... kgm also have two pit lines but more sidings can be developed there. Coz kgm is situated in haldwani that is a city of about 4 and half lakh population but lalkuan is just a small town of about 20k residents
