Varanasi to Singrauli section which is single line, needs immediately to be upraded and made double line. At present passenger trains and goods trains move on single track -in both directions- as a result the speed of the mail/express trains doesnot exceed 25-30 kms ph. By doubling this section the mail express trains will be in better position to run at greater speed, also goods train will be betetr scheduled. As this section is fully ruled by NDA elected members, this section needs to be made DOUBLE line urgently. This will be another bye-pass to reach Varanasi/Mughal Sarai fast.
