Fare hikes have left the masses irate;
Cursing kismet,lambasting fate...
Trains,once the steeds of the ordinary
Had become chariots of the rich,filthy.
Expectations were low,
Despair ruled,whether they would be dealt a blow.
Many states would make a fuss.
On the verge of a supposedly justified cuss;
Believing they had been dealt an unfair round,
Latching on to suspicions found.
As the clock struck eleven,
IRIans were chattering nineteen to the dozen.
Demanding this,rejecting that,
Blissfully unaware of the fact...
THEY WERE MERE SPECTATORS.
