DDN is the capital of Uttrakhand, yet its railway station doesnot have platform of standard size. If its capital city, railways must increase the length of the platform so that all coaches of train are parked next to platform.Railways must do it on priority basis. Surprising how railways have neglected DDN station platform?

I think DDN has land issue to extend length of platform.

Even doubling of BG from Laksar to DDN needs to be done which was promised long back. I think land issue is a hurdle.

catering services is horrible>>The mineral water served is all duplicate >many bottles are not sealed and served without price label whihc indicates that duplicates bottles have been replaced and served. Surprise check on catering services is essential on Konkan railways especially between Panvel and Kochuveli stations.
