Hubli - Mumbai routes have too much of curves and hills hence speed can't be increased. Where as SBC - PUNE is one awesome stretch via GTL, WADI where trains can easily maintain 100 kmph. SBC - DMM has some long curves and hills, but DMM - PUNE route is wonderful.
The reason many long distance trains get long waitlist is because of 2 reasons - (1) There are very less number of seats (<100)
