1. Entrance to Vridhachalam Junction [VRI] 2. Name Board 3. PF 4. 4. PFs 2 and 3 - PF 1 partly visible. 5. Free entry for them - found lot of them 6. Tamil Nadu has this tradition of huge publicity. This board on PF 2 relates to the birthday celebration of a railway employees union leader. 7 and 8. An ornamental piece, because no local passenger ever uses this, but just walks across the pathway on exiting. 9. Remnants of a sturdy tree which may have given shade to waiting passengers has sadly been cut. The junction incidentally does not have sufficient shade on PF 3-4. Train in the far distance is Bangalore-Karaikal Fast Passenger awaiting clearance - on time 10. One can have a view of all the four PFs. 11. Hanuman temple within the station area. 12 and 13.
