Shatabdi Exp travel report :
On 18th july 2014, sharp at 5.45am entered MAS and found that 12007 was platformed at 2A, I and my uncle along with my relative hurried towards train as we where new to station and my bro left us in drop and go facility due to parking issues. crawling through the main hall of central terminus we finally reached platform 2A and found that our coach CE2 was palced 3rd to the loco ( AJJ WAM XX),

to Guwahati Trivandrum exp on its left and TN Raj on its right (PF1).
* until Perambur train was crawling very hard to get the way and after that to my surprise it was made to run on EMU line and not on usual line used by express train.(Iam dam sure abt EMU line as I cross checked it 2 times)
* Passed AJJ around 7.05 am with usual speed, now was something waiting for me to watch out for, after AJJ, train started blasting to cover lost time and believe me until Malur (some 43 kms for SBC) train had not stopped even for a minute ( exception that it had crawled very slowly at KPD,JTJ)
*Passed BNC bang on time at 10.30 am and slowly we were took in to SBC at 10.45 am on PF7.
Regarding food:
As I belong to khakra jalebi family, found Upma wada a OK and quality was very good.
Speed: Train can easily be made to reach SBC at 10.30am, it crawls alot as compared to shatabdi standards.
Clean and very tidy train....
Enjoyed alot my first Shatabdi trip... thats all...
