What to the pantry people do with the left over food after arrival of the train at the destn station, b4 taking the train to the yard ?
If Rajdhani express, they will give off the food to children wandering off in stations esp in NZM NDLS sector... if others,most trains prepare food only after taking in order..I have never seen food getting wasted in NetravatiExpress... Esp in 16345 boarding from ERS i go to pantry to see if they have meals or anystuff.. they say food is over :)
Well the fact is they are sold to vendors at station or sold thru irctc stalls at terminating station
I have seen in TVC Raj, they sell Bottles of water and Frooties at NZM.. But not food..and once witnessed in Mumbai and August kranti at Kota, they give the unopened packets of food to kids who reach there to take the remains of food. The waste will be unloaded to the people who come there with trolleys.
