Patiala may get Traction Sub Station during electrification of Rajpura-Patiala-Dhuri-Lehra Mohabat.
According to RE, technically there should be a distance of 50 Kms between two TSS. One is already at Ambala , and setting up near Dhuri shall be too far. So Patiala is ideally 52 Kms from Ambala and 50 Kms from Dhuri also. So, chances of setting up the TSS at Patiala are good. More over setting up of 132kv feeder cable for TSS shall be good at PSTCL headquarters here.
