super fast express trains like the Frontier Mail, Kalka-Delhi-Howrah Mail, Grand Trunk Express, Taj Express, which are much faster and more convenient than other mail and express trains running on the same route. The difference in the running times of these super fast trains and other expresses running on the route in some cases is more than 12 hours. I, therefore, propose to levy a special supplementary charge at a flat rate for travel by these trains. As all the seats in these trains will be reserved, there will be no overcrowding and this measure will bring much needed relief to the long distance travelling public. The flat rates will be Rs. 1.50 for III class, Rs. 3/- for II class/A.C. chair car, Rs. 5/- for I class and Rs. 10/- for A.C.C.
