I have booked a ticket from yelahanka to kacheguda. But now I have realized that yeshwanthpur is easily reachable from my place. Will there be any problem if I board the train at yeshwanthpur ? Do I need to inform TTE in advance ?

You cannot board with the ticket you have already booked...Buy a General ticket from Yeshwantpur to Yelahanka and travel.
