I have book ADI_HOW express ticket it shows RAC 123 -124 what it means?
RAC means Reservation Against Cancellation. 123 & 124 lists your Sl. No. in RAC. Against this ticket, you can travel in the train. Berths are allotted against vacancies and if you are lucky, you may get a full berth each. else, as of now, you will be getting one berth which has to be shared among the two seats. Look for the 10 digit PNR number which is on the left side. You may dial 139 to know the current status of your RAC No. or you can know the status from this website (PNR Status tab) or through official website indianrail.gov.in. The current no. of 123 and 124 may change on cancellations by other people and might be reduced further. You may also check your status on the day of departure -2 to 4 hours before journey when chart is prepared for allotment of coach no. & berth.
