Really I cannot forget my trip to RMM(By Boat Mail Exp and Sethu Exp) for 7 days stay at the island, the PAMBAN BRIDGE, the name itself is enough....
I suggest everyone to visit once(through RAIL) in lifetime to this place, Ek tir se do nishan - shiv darshan aur rail darshan...
U vill feel very special(as a RF) standing infront of that bridge ( on ROAD bridge) and witnessing train moving on that bridge....

journey from bridge to RMM terminus is also very scenic and wonderfull across sand and shrubs...
U too have a place after RMM town where on the one side of the road(towards Dhanushkodi) u find mighty pacific Ocean (Bay of Bengal)(Prashant Mahasagar) and on the other side our Indian Ocean (Hindu Mahasagar)......
