this is true, no need to run on weekdays. For weekdays Tamralipta and Kandari are enough but it never runs empty on weekends which is the reply to your comment no.5 /blog/post/1179199/5

common man its just 188 kms even the busiest route HWH-ASN all the year runs empty sometimes and its about Digha. I bet there are passengers all the time throughout a year but why still trains run empty thats because people prefer buses from Esplanade and in the peak season when buses run full and you cant stand and go is the time when all those HWH-DGHA trains arises in the minds
