regarding barakar bridge, one new bridge is innaugrated in july. this bridge is capable for 160kmph. the two old bridges has an MPS 80 above.
So do you feel that trains from Calcutta to North India can catch up at 160 Kmph MPS after Sitarampur Jn towards DHN-GAYA ? :-)
why not, even the korean team which visited Dhanbad Division for semi High speed trains has given encouraging reports
Wow... it seems that Howrah WAP-7s or Ghaziabad WAP-5s can do the honors for the 160 Kmph High Speed Runs between Asansol/Dhanbad and Mughalsarai/Kanpur/New Delhi :-D
