I have tickets from Ghaziabad on a train originating from New Delhi, however have to board from New Delhi. What can be done to cover for the distance between New Delhi and Ghaziabad e.g buying diff. ticket? Pls suggest.
Get UR ticket from NDLS to GZB and travel but make sure to get Exp UR ticket (if your train is Just exp) or SF UR ticket(if your train is SF)
Thanks, i am travelling on 2A, not sure if they issue a 2A normal ticket on the general window.
even if they issue, they would charge for minimum 200 kms i guess for 2A unreserved... it will be too costly. Rather, (if you are alone or travelling light) buy a GEN class UR ticket, board from NDLS, and show up at GZB in 2A later.
If travelling with family and/or with heavy luggage, still buy UR GEN ticket, board 2A from NDLS, request TTE to accomodate till GZB.
