Hi folks,
I have US visa interview in kolkata on 12th August at 8 AM morning. I am right now in chennai. I am planning to travel by Howra mail 12840 Howra mail which leaves chennai at 23.20 August 10 and reaches kolkata by 4.10Am morning August 12th. Will the train will be on time. Also is it better to book in irctc or through reservation counter. Right now the current status is RAC 36 SL General quota

Finally i booked my tickets RAC 6 3AC for howrah mail from chennai to kolkata 23.20 on aug 10th... Initially i booked for sleeper class RAC 48 .... but i got some second thoughts about it due to the long journey. So went for 3AC
