Hmm... so these Diesels are in their last days of run on this Moradabad - Haridwar - Dehradun Route as signs of electrification reach over here. I think that the Howrah - Haridwar Kumbh Express has a great chance of reaching with it's HWH WAP-4 @ HW in the months to come... Gee ;-D

PS: Our SLN IRI Member Harsh can spot Kumbh Exp at SLN with Wappies coming from HW-LKO Direction in the months to come :-D

Electric Poles Have Reached upto Doiwala So Electrfication b/w HW and DDN would be taking few months more than we can expext WAP for this train ete★★
Electrification of a Single Track Route does not speed up a Superfast Train much en route. Any idea about the track doubling between Moradabad and Dehradun ? I feel that IR should also think of designing a direct end-to-end rail line from Dehradun's Doiwala Station to Jammu Tawi Station via Kalka to join all the main State Capital Base Stations in a single go... what say ? ;-)

Railways has announced this project already.Chandigarh will be having a new junction point which will be bypass UMB to JUD (as in future JUD Will be a jjnctikn point for kurukshetra and cdg,both lines will bypass UMB) and then From JUD to Paonta Sahib and then to DDN.when trains will be running from cdg to jud bypass UMB...the line will Bypass these big stations : UMB,SRE,HW ....time saving + fuel saving + connectivity of cdg with Paonta sahib amd then to ddn with rail.

Great... seems like this new rail line will discourage loco reversal... what can the new stations be on this new line ? :-)
