Dear IRI Members,

Grand Chord Route consists of 90% Jharkhand and 10% Bihar and Main Line Route consists of 90% Bihar and 10% Jharkhand geographically... this is what comes to my mind while I travel by any of these routes although facts may vary.

PS: I love the Grand Chord Route as it's scenery and triple tracks fascinate me more... Gee :-D

shramjeevi akaltakth himgiri these are overnight trains for patna so due to dark in night railfanning is not possible.......and i cannot see the tracks also in mid night

Yes sir I love grand chord section very much ; My most of the journey start/terminate here , with a rough estimate I travel almost 15+ times in this section per year since left school. The journey rom mgs to dos in triple line section is mind blowing i always hope to see parallel run and race between 2 trains whenever i travel their . I can say passenger train also touches 110 speed before halting to its next intermediate halt .
The edfc construction is going on , but their are some problems . With in edfc planned route their are 2-3 ssp & sp are their of existing stations , which are yet to be

I have requested Nitin Ji to cover the track stretch through videos/photos near Dhanaichcha (DCX) when the DOS-MGS Section becomes a 5 Track Section after #EDFC work gets completed over there... I am also waiting for some photos/videos from your side... I think that 140 Kmph MPS may become possible on this section by 2017 :-D
