Manish Chowdhury 43 blog postsI want to board this HWH-PUNE Duronto from Tatanager, which is shown as a technical halt in the timetable. Ofcourse the ticket will be booked from HWH-PUNE. Therefore the question is: Is it possible to change the boarding point on a Duronto to an intermediate technical halt station (TATA in this case)? If it's possible, how to get this done?
You cannot board Duronto at any technical halt. Only deboarding is allowed. Since the ticket is booked end to end, there is no provision in system to change boarding point. TTE would allot your confirmed berth to RAC passenger if he finds you missing at HWH.
No this is not possible. You have to board this train from HWH itself.
