Dr. Dharamvira Gandhi, MP from Patiala talking about his efforts to upgrade railway facilities in Malwa region in Punjab. A 16 km track is pending from years just to give undue benefit to a political family in their transport business. People are forced to choose costly and dangerous road travel, it is causing daily accidents due to extra congestion on narrow roads. Dr. Gandhi has met central Railway minister 3 times in this matter and has already presented his demands with specific action points required to resolve the issues. Dr. Gandhi has convinced Railway minster to upgrade the Railway tracks and lay new tracks where ever required. It is now for Punjab govt to provide land for railway tracks.
