My friend with his family traveling tomorrow in this train from MANGALORE JN to Panvel. Out of 3 passenger, 2 status is confirmed while 1 ticket is WL/1.
If one ticket remain wait list then system will cancel it (being eticket) or convert it into RAC?

The ticket will remain in WL and this type of ticket is called as partiall CNF but the WL passenger is 100% authorize to sit with the cnf ones.There is also a procedure if wl pass don't want to travel as he has to take a NTC-non travelling certificate from the tte and file TDR after sending the certificate to railways by courier and the money will be refunded after a fixed period of time.
