In regard of the 4th point in this article which says '' The other identified sector for 160 kmph are; Delhi-Agra, Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Kanpur, Nagpur-Bilaspur, Mysore-Bengaluru-Chennai; Mumbai-Goa, Mumbai-Ahmedabad; Chennai- Hyderabad and Nagpur-Secunderabad ''
In this they have Mumbai to Goa route the trains shall run at 160 km/hr, but is it possible with KR running on single line from Roha to Madgaon. If they plan to run trains at 160 km/hr they need double track..
And
...
we all know doubling KR is not an easy job.
Also, what will they do in the monsoon season..
In monsoon trains are not allowed to go over 90 km/hr.
Also the curves on CR between Apta and Pen have a restriction of 60 to 70 km/hr.
