P DAS 38 blog postsI have made a booking for 2 by 12302 in 2A for journey between NDLS and HWH in October. I had opted for one UPPER and one LOWER berth choice. Finally I got allotted coach A4 45 LOWER & A4 46 UPPER. Is this correct??? Can anybody comment and clarify to me please? In my calculation 43, 44 should be respectively Lower & Upper and 45 & 46 SL & SU respectively and the end of coach. I'm confused. Plsease explain the berth layout arrangement...

This train has LHB Coaches consisting of 52 berths per every 2AC Coach.
In trains having ICF Coaches (Just like this train had in the earlier years), the total number of berths were till 46.
Hence the last 4 berths were placed as:
42-LB, 43-UB, 44-SLB, 45-SUB. (In some trains 44 was also found to be LB bang opposite to 42 in the same...

Thanx for the info Sir... However, isn't the total number of berths available in Rajdhani 2A class equal to 46? I don't think there are 47, 48 SL & SU?
Thanx Sir... But still little confused... In the new LHB rakes of Rajdhani, then what are berth nos. 45 & 46 in 2A class? Aren't them Lower & Upper?
