how is the condition of sl coaches in this train ? Is it clean ? Does local passengers occupy the sl coaches ?
Which train is better to travel till mangalore ? This one or the sbc - kannur one ? Pls suggest.

I recently travelled in this train both to and from Bangalore, the coaches are very good with bio toilets, mobile charging points, comfy seats, and when towards Bangalore, the train reached 5 km to Bangalore station at 8 but was only allowed to reach the destination platform around 8:35 as some other train was present at that platform. It was bang on time at the originating station.
I am not sure about the coaches of Bangalore - Kannur, but Bangalore Karwar coaches were 2014 make and very good.
The passengers from or en route to Karwar may occupy SL seats until Mangalore Central, but upon showing the ticket, they may leave the seats for you...generally it would not be crowded.
Its a Intercity for Bangalore-Mysore and Mangalore-Karwar regions- so daily travelelrs can be expected
Only in between Bangalore and Mysore there might be a few. After Mysore there will not be any unreserved passengers upto Mangalore.
