Kanpur WAG-7 hauled and 4:15 hrs late running Kolkata - Jaipur Premium Special was forcibly stopped by villagers in naxalite affected area, who demanded of proper remuneration against deceased. The body was lying on the UP Main line track, just adjacent to the red painted building, paralyzing the traffic on UP Main line for more than 8 hrs. Earlier, trains were using loop line, but when our train arrived, they blocked whole Gomoh - Gaya section for 3 hrs. This is the snap when agitation had just begun. Later, more villagers with armed naxalites joined them supporting their cause. The situation could get bloody anytime, but anyways naxalites didn't create any inconvenience to passengers. It took 3 hrs for negotiation process to complete between railway authorities and naxalites. Only after the successful negotiation, traffic could start on this section of Delhi - Howrah route.
