Suggestion made in your E-Mail dtd 29.06.2014 received vide Railway
Board’s above quoted letter has been examined remarks are as under-
Increase in frequency of 12913/12914 Indore – Nagpur weekly tri-Shatabdi
express ( via Ujjain) to 4 days in a week and remaining 3 days train
should run up to Madras/ Vishakhapattanam-
12923/12924 Indore-Nagpur weekly express ( via Dewas- Maksi) is a direct
train available between Indore and Nagpur. At present, 12913/12914 Indore-
Nagpur weekly tri-Shatabdi express train is running with integrated rake
link of other 6 pairs of express trains having Primary Maintenance at
Indore. Owing to terminal/ maintenance constraints at Indore coupled with
track capacity constraints on Indore-Ujjain section it is operationally
not feasible to increase the frequency of 12913/12914 Indore – Nagpur
weekly express trains to 4 days in a week. Moreover lie over period of
this train at Nagpur is inadequate for extension of it up to
Madras/Vishakhapattanam as suggested
