Ltt to karmali is 520kms and fare showing for DD is 1050 and BCT to ahmedabad is 492kms and fare is 655. Why such a huge difference for mere 28kms difference?

LTT to Karmali is charged at 706.2 KMs instead of the 536 km geographical distance since its on Konkan Railway which is allowed to charge inflated distance.
