saptarshipurohit.1 12 blog postsTravelling in a train without a confirmed ticket for the first time. Ticket is for 3A. I'm boarding from the starting station. Do I get into the unreserved compartment and get a seat or do I enter the 3A coach? Please help!

If not 3A then where do I go? Is it possible for the TT to allot me a sleeper at least?
You better speak to the TTE, he may assist you in finding a seat. Convince him that you have an exam. Usually TTEs help those people with genuine requirements.

Alternatively, 12624 SF is avbl (3A 19 n SL 42) till MAS and then you can catch Shalimar from MAS to BBS, but it looks difficult from MAS as well.

Go by 12624 till mas from there u can catch TTE to allocate something in SL to bbs AC is bit difficult from MAS to BBS but u will have a fair chance in SL from MAS to BBS but full length journey in TVC SHM is very difficult chance
